How to request a review
File review
WhiteArmor's official website archives reveal historical email addresses and its later rebrand to Babable. No current direct false-positive channel was verified.
- Re-analyse the existing VirusTotal report and record the exact WhiteArmor detection and result date.
- Use the documented Babable rebrand when searching for a later owner or existing business correspondence.
- Treat the recovered email addresses as historical evidence only. A Gmail address was published by the vendor in 2016, but its current owner, activity and review process are unconfirmed.
- The historical website linked by VirusTotal, wangav.com, is now parked or offered for sale. It must not be presented as an active vendor support destination.
- The old whitearmor.ai email domain returned NXDOMAIN from two independent DNS resolvers in this audit.
- The archived Gmail address has not been tested, and the existence of Gmail as a service does not verify that this individual mailbox is active or still controlled by the vendor.
- No evidence was found of a current false-positive process or a successor beyond Babable.
Scope & contact notes
- Listed in VirusTotal search-prefix documentation but absent from the contributor roster snapshot; this is not proof the engine is currently active.
- The official 2016 VirusTotal announcement links to wangav.com. That domain is currently parked/offered for sale. No current primary-source support channel was verified.
- This name appears in a VirusTotal engine-prefix list or contact table but is not matched to a current contributor entry. Current engine activity is unconfirmed.
- The archived official Babable homepage confirms that WhiteArmor rebranded to Babable. Both VirusTotal engine-prefix records are preserved because the brand relationship does not establish current engine activity or support.
- Recovered historical email addresses are evidence of earlier company contact details; none is verified as a current appeal channel.
