File review

Babable was the new name of WhiteArmor, according to its archived official homepage. A historical engine-cooperation email is confirmed, but no current vendor appeal channel was verified.

  1. Re-analyse the existing VirusTotal item and record whether Babable still appears, along with the result date, SHA-256 and exact detection.
  2. Check both Babable and its former WhiteArmor name when tracing the engine owner. The archived company page explicitly confirms this rebrand.
  3. Do not rely on the old [email protected] address as a current route: both DNS resolvers queried returned NXDOMAIN for the domain during this audit.
  • The historical email was published for AI antivirus-engine cooperation, not explicitly for false-positive appeals.
  • babable.com and whitearmor.ai returned NXDOMAIN in Google Public DNS and Cloudflare DNS checks on October 14, 2026. These old domain-based mail addresses are not currently usable as normal Internet mail destinations.
  • The engine remains in VirusTotal's allowed file-search prefixes. A search-prefix listing does not establish that the vendor is currently operating.
  • No message or SMTP delivery test was sent.

Scope & contact notes

  • Listed in VirusTotal search-prefix documentation but absent from the contributor roster snapshot; this is not proof the engine is currently active.
  • The VirusTotal file-prefix list includes this historical name, but no current official contact was verified. Third-party directories alone were not accepted as contact evidence.
  • This name appears in a VirusTotal engine-prefix list or contact table but is not matched to a current contributor entry. Current engine activity is unconfirmed.
  • The archived official Babable homepage confirms that WhiteArmor rebranded to Babable. Both VirusTotal engine-prefix records are preserved because the brand relationship does not establish current engine activity or support.
  • Recovered historical email addresses are evidence of earlier company contact details; none is verified as a current appeal channel.
