Search and template data
The directory search and appeal generator run in your browser. The site does not upload the URLs, file hashes, explanations, or names you type into these controls. Drafts are not stored by the site and are lost when the page is closed or refreshed. Copying uses your browser’s clipboard permission; downloading creates a local text file.
Hosting and external services
Cloudflare Pages hosts this public website. You do not need an account or a login. Cloudflare can receive standard request information, such as IP address, browser details, and visited URLs. If you put a search term in a URL query string, it can appear in browser history and hosting logs.
This version loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser contacts Google to retrieve their styles and font files. Vendor links take you to external websites governed by their own privacy practices. An email link opens your configured mail application; it does not send a message automatically.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics 4 measures page visits only after you choose “Allow analytics.” It can receive page paths, device and browser information, referrer paths, and cookie identifiers. We remove query strings and fragments from the page and referrer addresses sent in our tag configuration. For Analytics, enhanced measurement, Google signals, and advertising personalization are disabled. We do not send directory search terms, appeal inputs, names, file hashes, or submitted text to Analytics.
Your analytics choice is saved in local storage. Choose “Analytics preferences” in the footer to change it; “No thanks” stops collection and clears this site’s Google Analytics cookies. Declining analytics does not restrict access. Google explains its processing in its privacy policy. Analytics does not load on this privacy page.
Google AdSense advertising
We use Google AdSense to support this free directory. Ad delivery depends on Google’s approval of the site and account. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, IP addresses, device information, page URLs and browsing activity to deliver, measure and personalize ads, prevent fraud and limit repeated ads. Advertising does not affect the vendor order, contact evidence or appeal guidance.
Personalized advertising in the EEA, UK and Switzerland requires consent through a Google-certified consent management platform. We have configured Google’s consent message for this site with “Consent,” “Do not consent,” and “Manage options” choices. When Google displays the message, you can decline consent or select your preferences. Its “Privacy and cookie settings” link lets you revisit your choices. Your separate Analytics choice does not control advertising consent. Google explains its use of partner-site information at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. AdSense is not loaded on this privacy page or the appeal generator. Our application does not send appeal drafts to Google. Declining optional analytics or advertising consent does not require an account or prevent access to the directory.
What to avoid sharing
Submit confidential samples only through a channel and process you are authorized to use. Check the vendor’s own submission terms. This site has no file-upload feature and does not need your passwords or VirusTotal API key.
