How to request a review

File review

VirusTotal described MAX as a Saint Security engine and part of malwares.com. The current VirusTotal directory provides a malwares.com file contact.

  1. Email [email protected] and identify MAX as the historical engine name.
  2. Provide the file SHA-256, VirusTotal report link, detection label and evidence supporting a false-positive review.
  3. Ask the current team whether it can review this legacy MAX result.
  • MAX and MaxSecure are different names; do not send MAX reports to MaxSecure solely because the names resemble each other.
  • This legacy route is based on the documented engine origin and the current malwares.com contact; mailbox delivery and legacy-review capability have not been tested.

Scope & contact notes

  • Listed in VirusTotal search-prefix documentation but absent from the contributor roster snapshot; this is not proof the engine is currently active.
  • This name appears in a VirusTotal engine-prefix list or contact table but is not matched to a current contributor entry. Current engine activity is unconfirmed.
